Blessing Box Map
On average folks in Forsyth County, NC pass 2 blessing boxes on their everyday commute. Right now, we know that families are using blessing boxes to supplement their kitchen cabinet ingredients and food on the table.
Many of our unhoused neighbors stop by blessing boxes on their commutes as well. In fact, many of our unhoused neighbors helped us identify blessing boxes in our community. Through one of Centenary UMC's grants they supported one of our summer initiatives to have groups of youth filling the boxes each week.
THIS FALL: we're working on providing a map so you can find the blessing boxes that you pass each day and you can help fill them! We'll list 10 of the most helpful items to put in the boxes too. Check back soon!
