Service & Spirit Weekends
October 29 - 31, 2021
This short term experience is designed for youth groups and groups who want to spend time serving others, in worship, and working to share peace and kindness to all people. SPARK is working to be creative when thinking about fall 2021. We want to provide a safe and healthy environment for groups, as well as meaningful opportunities that value the difficult experiences brought on and impacted by COVID-19. This short term service experience will look a lot like our summer overnight service experience condensed into a weekend time frame.
● Lodging: Burkhead United Methodist Church
● Service: Saturday - Sunday in Winston-Salem and surrounding areas engaging
in ministry with our unhoused neighbors, food justice work, racial
reconciliation, ministry with children, and more
● Let’s Eat: Friday dinner - Sunday lunch is provided
● Evening Activities: Winston-Salem engagement, worship, large and small
group times and a community meal.
* Cost: $60 per youth. One youth leader comes at no cost.
